We examine every project concept in meticulous detail. This includes ensuring that the concept corresponds to the client’s brief and strategic objectives. For risky and more complex projects we arrange feasibility studies. After all, a project initiation does not necessarily have to lead immediately to a project. Just as many projects are deferred or shelved as are launched. Sometimes the best investment is the decision not to invest at all.
We generally carry out the project initiation with the prospective project manager and a small mixed core team.
Process support
No project without a clear brief
The best managers and most accomplished experts do not necessarily make the best project managers. Where required, we will gladly provide project managers, team members and assistants on an interim basis.
Steering committees are often an effective means of providing projects with internal and external support and know-how. In our experience, the success of a project depends on having an explicit brief and ongoing controlling.
Venture capital
No venture capital without basic legal protection
Start-ups generally require venture capital, but existing companies looking to expand their business also often require investors during the early stages of project planning – e.g. to finance feasibility studies and extensive legal checks – in addition to the staffing requirements already associated with the project.
We work with our partners and clients to develop venture capital and debt venture capital models. Of course, we also look for public funding and provide assistance with the related funding discussions and application processes.
Transformation consultancy
No transformation without company restructuring
On behalf of bodies such as the German Federal Enterprise for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the German Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF), and in cooperation with the Humboldt University of Berlin, we advise government organisations planning fundamental economic and legal transformation processes in their respective countries.
Our main areas of activity include organising modernisation processes at both state and company level. For a number of years, “renewable energies” have become increasingly important in transformation consultancy owing to their implicit role in the establishment of efficient, decentralised and environmentally friendly economic structures.
