Vita

Daniela Spannagel studied political science and Spanish in Berlin and Cologne and has previously worked as a journalist in Argentina and Cuba, a press aide in Kosovo and Macedonia, and as a project manager in the transport and pollution control division of the non-profit environmental and consumer protection association Deutsche Umwelthilfe e.V. She has also trained as a mediator and coach.

Since 2012, she has developed and coordinated projects and workshops for bevecon, with a particular focus on Cuba.

Sven Flöter

Vita

After studying industrial engineering at the Technical University of Berlin, Sven Flöter spent a number of years working as a project manager and managing director. Among other things, he was responsible for the acquisition and transfer from Germany to Slovakia of an entire industrial production facility employing 200 staff.

Since 2009, he has worked in investment management and as an advisor for bevecon. He has also been a member of other companies’ management boards since 2013. His activities in the renewable energies field include planning, commercial management, and controlling and financial management of wind and solar facilities.

Armin Ries

Vita

Armin Ries studied industrial engineering in Aachen and Paris. After working in controlling and investment management for an international trading company, he spent over twenty years in a range of different roles with a consumer goods manufacturer, including as a managing director in Germany, managing director for Central Europe and as head of mergers and acquisitions.

He now puts his sales and project management experience and international connections to good use at bevecon.

Ralf Janus

Vita

Following his studies in business economics, Ralf Janus worked as treasurer for a financial services firm and as head of finances for an international chemicals company. He then jointly headed up the liquidation and reorganisation divisions of the state privatisation agency Treuhandanstalt. After seven years as managing director of BSV GmbH, the largest wealth management and investment management company of Treuhandanstalt, Ralf Janus founded bevecon management gmbh in 2007.

The main areas of activity from that period were a) advising privatisation bodies and ministries in locations including Kosovo, Vietnam, Cuba and Azerbaijan on behalf of BMF and GIZ, and b) planning renewable energy projects on brownfield sites. The area of development the company is now focussing on is the initiation, valuation and management of renewable energy investments, both nationally and internationally.
